From $17.00 per hour, based on experience Pro Shots Photography | Fresno & Central Valley Pro Shots Photography is seeking dependable, energetic photographers to join our youth sports photography team. Since 2005, we have photographed athletes, teams, schools, and sports organizations throughout Fresno and the Central Valley. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position for someone who has some photography experience, enjoys working with children, and can confidently direct athletes while keeping picture day organized and on schedule. Our photographers create professional individual and team portraits using DSLR or mirrorless cameras, off-camera flash, and portable studio lighting. ProShots.com/jobs Primary Responsibilities Photograph individual athletes, buddy groups, coaches, and sports teams Pose and direct children of different ages in a confident and encouraging manner Operate DSLR or mirrorless cameras using manual exposure settings Set up, adjust, and safely operate off-camera flash and portable lighting equipment Maintain consistent lighting, posing, framing, and image quality throughout the event Keep athletes moving efficiently through the photography station Review images during the event to identify focus, lighting, posing, or equipment issues Work closely with assistants, check-in staff, coaches, and league representatives Help load, unload, set up, and break down photography equipment Provide friendly and professional customer service to athletes, parents, coaches, and staff Follow Pro Shots Photography procedures and maintain an organized work area Arrive on time and remain available for the full scheduled event Qualifications Some portrait, sports, school, event, or studio photography experience Working knowledge of DSLR or mirrorless cameras Basic understanding of manual exposure, shutter speed, aperture, and ISO Experience with off-camera flash or studio lighting is preferred Comfortable posing, directing, and communicating with children Able to maintain a positive attitude in a busy, high-energy environment Strong attention to lighting, composition, focus, and small details Dependable, organized, and able to follow an established workflow Strong communication and customer service skills Able to work independently while also contributing to a team Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to event locations throughout the Central Valley Professional appearance and demeanor Schedule and Availability This is a part-time, seasonal, event-based position. Work is primarily available during the spring and fall youth sports seasons. Schedules vary depending on league and school photography dates.

Most events take place during:

Saturdays and Sundays Weekday afternoons and evenings Occasional weekday school hours Early morning start times for larger picture days A typical weekend event may run approximately 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, while weekday events may run approximately 3:30 PM to 9:00 PM. Actual hours vary by assignment. This is not a guaranteed-hours position. Team members are scheduled based on event needs, availability, experience, and seasonal workload. Applicants should have regular weekend availability during the spring and fall seasons. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 40 pounds Ability to stand, sit, bend, squat, and move frequently for extended periods Ability to work indoors and outdoors in changing weather conditions Ability to load, unload, assemble, and break down photography equipment Location This is an on-location position.
