Responsibilities Capture high-quality photos and videos during youth sports games, practices, and events, ensuring all key moments are documented vividly. Edit photos and videos using industry-standard software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe After Effects to produce polished content. Create engaging motion graphics and visual effects to enhance video projects, highlighting player achievements or game highlights. Manage post-production workflows efficiently, including color correction, sound editing, and adding graphics or overlays as needed. Collaborate with coaches, event organizers, and team staff to understand specific content needs and deliver tailored visual materials. Maintain organized digital archives of all media files for easy access and future use. Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a lively, positive tone that resonates with our community. What You'll Do Travel to weekend tournament games to shoot high-resolution action photography and high-definition video footage.

Schedule & Travel Logistics Hours:

6-8 hours per day, every other weekend. Pay$30/hr

Venues:

While our home base is Pasadena, games are heavily played at major tournament venues across Southern California, including The MAP Sports Facility (Garden Grove) , AIM Sportsplex (Seal Beach) , and surrounding areas.

What We're Looking For Equipment:

You must own your own professional setup (DSLR/Mirrorless camera capable of crisp high-speed motion shots and high-quality video, plus appropriate sports lenses).

Transportation:

Must have reliable personal transportation to travel between game locations across the local area.

Experience:

Sports photography/videography experience is highly preferred. You should understand the flow of a basketball game to anticipate where the action is heading.

Reliability:

Punctuality is everything in sports. Games start on time, and our creators must be set up and ready before tip-off.

Autonomy:

Ability to work independently on-site, manage your equipment, and safely store/upload digital assets. Qualifications Proven experience in videography and photography, particularly in capturing sports or action-packed events. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, Lightroom), Final Cut Pro, and Adobe Illustrator is highly desirable. Strong skills in video editing, motion graphics creation, and post-production techniques. Knowledge of filming techniques specific to sports environments including framing, lighting, and camera operation. Ability to work independently with a keen eye for detail while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and event staff.
