The House of Eli, Miami is a nonprofit that empowers emerging creatives through education, mentorship, and professional opportunities in fashion, film, sports, and entertainment while partnering with community organizations to expand access and impact. Our in-house team creates captivating content for fashion and entertainment enthusiasts across platforms like TikTok and Instagram. As a Social Media Analytics Intern, you will play a vital role in the company's digital marketing efforts by providing valuable insights and data-driven recommendations for our TikTok and Instagram content strategies. You will work closely with our media team to analyze performance metrics, track trends, and contribute to optimizing our social media presence. Job Description:
We are seeking an organized, driven, and creative social media analytics intern to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our COO/Creative Director and other interns to help our social media grow in all capacities. You will also have the option to participate in photoshoots, events, networking opportunities, and conversing with professionals in the industry and high-end clients. You will gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of fashion and entertainment, enhancing your analytical skills, marketing, and content creation while learning a strong sense of branding and building your portfolio.- Must have a portfolio including event photography and some fashion projects if possible
Responsibilities:
- Assist with various tasks related to film production, including pre-production, production, and post-production processes
- Collaborate with the team to develop creative concepts and ideas for film, fashion, and event projects
- Conduct research and gather reference materials for film projects
- Assist with set preparation and organization, including props, costumes, and equipment
- Operate cameras and other filming equipment during shoots
- Assist with lighting setup and adjustments
- Edit and manipulate footage using post-production software
- Assist with social media management, including content creation and scheduling
- Capture high-quality photographs for promotional materials and social media posts
- Collaborate with the team to develop art direction for visual projects
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of film production techniques and processes
- must have own equipment
- Proficiency in color theory and its application in film and photography
- Experience in social media management, including content creation
- Knowledge of photography techniques, including composition, lighting, and editing
- Familiarity with post-production software such as Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom for photo manipulation is a must
- Ability to provide art direction for visual projects
- Experience using Capture One or similar software for photo editing is a plus
- Strong sales skills to assist in promoting film projects or services
- Basic knowledge of video production techniques is a plus
