Seasonal School Photographer's Assistant Photographic Memories Photography Studio Palm Bay, FL Job Details Part-time From $17 an hour 3 hours ago Benefits Paid training Qualifications Crowd interaction In-person customer service Experience working with children Entry level Under 1 year Full Job Description Seasonal Preschool Photographer's Assistant We specialize in preschool photography, capturing genuine smiles of children from infants to age five in their own preschool setting — we bring the studio to them! Our one-of-a-kind prop sets make each session fun and memorable. As a family-owned business since 2005, we pride ourselves on creating a warm, joyful experience for every child and school we serve. What You'll Do Arrive at assigned preschool locations 30 minutes before start time to help set up equipment and props Engage with children on their level — often sitting or kneeling on the floor — to create a fun, comfortable atmosphere. You will be taught to pose children based on their age group and learn appropriate antics to engage with children to get them to smile and look at the camera. Use age-appropriate antics and guidance to get the best smiles and direct attention to the photographer Assist in keeping the photo sessions running smoothly (we may photograph up to 75 children in a morning!) Maintain a positive, energetic attitude and patient demeanor throughout the session What We Offer Paid training — learn posing techniques for different age groups, group posing, expression coaching, and workflow tips A supportive, family-oriented work environment Seasonal morning hours (ideal for a part-time schedule) What We're Looking For Experience working with children is a plus. No photography posing experience required-we will teach you. Friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic personality. Someone that works well with others and communicates well Able to lift and operate equipment up to 25 lbs Strong customer service skills Must have reliable transportation to job sites and must be reliable to work the scheduled days. Willing to undergo a background check due to the nature of our work Schedule Seasonal position, typically 8:30 am - 11:30 am. 3-4 mornings per week
Dress Code Pants:
Comfortable, loose fitting so you can move around easily. We prefer a flexible scrub type in either black or grey. Shirts should be a comfortable, breathable material. Not tight fitting or low cut/revealing. Shirts should be longer than your waist as you will be on the floor moving around. Solid colors are prefered. No busy prints or or writing. Shoes should be athletic type. NO CROCS, slides or open toed shoes.
