Location:
Nashville, Tennessee (Davidson County) The Tennessee State Museum seeks a skilled, detail-oriented Photographer 1 (Collections Photographer) to produce accurate, high-quality images that support collections care, exhibitions, publications, and digital initiatives. This role reports to the Chief Registrar and strengthens the museum's visual identity while enhancing public access to Tennessee's cultural heritage.
Key Responsibilities:
Uses photographic and video equipment to capture subjects, objects, locations, and/ or events. Stages subjects, objects, or areas for photography as needed and coordinates with museum staff, visitors, and other stakeholders to support imaging needs. Identifies valuable photographs or videos for use in projects, publications, and/or newsletters. Processes, archives, and retrieves digital image assets following established procedures.
