Job Description:

Job Summary:
The Brand Content Specialist - Photographer/Videographer will be responsible for the functions outlined below for the Marketing department.
Primary Functions:
Create content (photos, video, imagery) including third party website and DD retail store, on an as needed basis. Provide materials (e.g. photo, video, imagery) for all products and marketing assets on a needed basis. Provide content for effective brand messaging that emphasizes compelling product benefits in order to drive sufficient levels of brand awareness. Leverage advanced knowledge of studio lighting techniques as well as audio/visual best practices. Be responsible for assembling recorded raw material into a finished product that is suitable for broadcast and/or social platforms. Work with DD Foundation to produce, direct, and create compelling video, photo, and additional assets. Leverage a core group of social media influencers and identify, manage and collaborate with third party freelancers. Manage the company's studio (located in Black Creek, GA) including image bank assets Develop and produce both studio and lifestyle outdoor photography. Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Responsible for demonstrating commitment to and leadership of environmental health and safety principles, policies and procedures. Participates in the company's efforts to continuously improve Safety, 6S, Quality, Delivery and Productivity. Expected to be a contributor to the company standards on high integrity, safety, and a positive work environment. Other responsibilities as deemed appropriate or necessary by management.
Secondary Functions:
Assist in the development of advertising launch plan including the selection of third party agency for advertising production. Manage third party agency partners as appropriate. Coach junior photographer as appropriate. Pilot a DD podcast program with goal of producing one per month. Perform research on competitors and market trends including best practice in digital marketing. Ensure brand communication for areas of responsibility are consistent with the company and brand positioning. Assist in the production of collateral, web, product packaging, user manuals, and other visual communications media for the company. Help promote uniformity and consistency of brand. Marketing Specialist and Social Media Marketing Manager Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Bachelor's Degree with 2-4 years of experience in Marketing or a related area or a combination of related experience, education and/or training to sufficiently and successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Strong photo retouching and video editing knowledge. Ability to create content with a primary focus to support social media strategies. Gaines exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the field. Teamwork and the ability to cooperate and work proactively with others is a must. Preferred prior experience with graphics and videography a plus including: Adobe Premier or Final Cut Pro 3D Studio Max or Comparable 3D Software (a plus) Adobe AfterFX Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom Adobe Lightroom Adobe InDesign (a plus) Use computer software to create electronic versions of designs. Great attention to detail and excellent record keeping skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Self-motivated; willing to put in extra effort and hours as needed. Ability to work, interact and effectively communicate with all company officials, employees, vendors, customers, etc. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, identify and address problems, meet deadlines, and stay within budget. Competent with computer software such as Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook Word). Travel requirement up to 15%. Demonstrated ability to recognize and work in accordance with our Company Values.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50 pounds. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting and bending throughout the normal work day - extensively at trade shows, meetings, etc. Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment, to include working in and around machinery, exposure to noise and chemicals, lights/lasers, etc. Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protection Equipment as required by your position and/or Company policy.
