PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHER & OPERATIONS SUPPORT
Historic Investments, LLC | Part-Time Contract | $16/hr In-Person | ~24 hrs/week | Flexible Schedule | 20-Week Contract Do you have an eye for detail and a passion for history? Historic Investments, LLC is looking for a creative, curious individual to help bring some of America's most storied firearms to life — through the lens of a camera. About Us Founded in 2015, Historic Investments, LLC is a premier e-commerce destination for serious collectors of antique and collectible firearms. We don't just sell guns — we preserve history. Every piece we offer is meticulously photographed, expertly described, and backed by an iron-clad money-back guarantee. We're a small, passionate team with big ambitions to grow. When you join us, you're not just filling a role — you're becoming part of a tight-knit operation that takes pride in what it does. The Opportunity As our Product Photographer & Operations Support contractor, you'll play a hands-on role in shaping how the world sees our collection. From lighting a Civil War-era revolver to organizing a digital archive, your work will directly impact how customers connect with history. This is more than a photography gig — it's a chance to develop a diverse set of skills in a fascinating, one-of-a-kind industry. And with the possibility of contract renewal or expanded employment after 20 weeks, the door is open for a long-term future with us. What You'll Do Photograph our inventory of antique and collectible firearms, bringing each piece to life with professional product photography Name, upload, organize, and transfer images within Google Suite and cloud-based storage systems Collaborate with the Owner to craft compelling product descriptions, titles, and pricing Perform inventory audits to ensure all firearms are accurately and compliantly recorded in business records Edit and retouch images to a professional standard (GIMP experience is a plus!) Assist with day-to-day business operations as directed by the Business Manager What We're Looking For You don't need to be a firearms expert — we'll teach you everything you need to know about our inventory. What we do need is someone who brings the right attitude and skillset: A working knowledge of product photography and a strong creative eye High attention to detail — accuracy matters in a regulated industry Comfortable with technology: Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Drive, and cloud-based tools Fast, accurate typing skills A genuine interest in historic firearms, antiques, or collectibles Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ATF compliance guidelines Physical ability to kneel, bend, and occasionally lift up to 30 lbs for photography setups GIMP or other image editing experience is a bonus, but not required Requirements Must be 21 years of age or older Must pass a Federal Criminal Background Check (our business holds an ATF permit) Must be eligible to work in the United States and provide documentation upon hire
