About Us Whisler Studios is a real estate media company based in Washington, Iowa, serving agents and brokerages across Eastern Iowa. We specialize in photography, video, drone, and 3D tours that help agents sell faster and stand out in their markets. We're a small, close-knit team that takes our work seriously — and we're growing fast in the Burlington area. We're not looking to just fill a role. We're looking for someone who wants to grow with us. The Opportunity We're expanding our presence in the Burlington market and need a dedicated local photographer to cover shoots in the area. Right now that means Burlington, West Burlington, Fort Madison, Keokuk, Mediapolis, Nauvoo IL, and surrounding communities — roughly a one-hour radius. You'll be the person on the ground representing Whisler Studios in this market. This role starts part-time with a clear path to full-time as Burlington volume grows — which is happening fast. What You'll Do Travel to homes and properties to capture interior and exterior photos Shoot video walkthroughs Capture drone photos and video Complete 3D tours Follow our shot standards and deliver consistently high-quality work What We Provide All camera and drone equipment — you bring yourself, we bring the gear FAA Part 107 drone certification paid in full Full training alongside our team on active Burlington shoots A growing client base you don't have to build yourself What We're Looking For Reliable, self-motivated, and takes pride in their work Comfortable working independently in the field Friendly and professional with clients Reliable transportation required Interest in photography or media — experience is a plus, not a requirement Someone who wants to build something, not just pick up shifts Compensation 15% commission on every completed shoot $0.55 per mile Your income grows as the market grows — we're actively adding Burlington clients and your schedule will fill quickly This isn't a dead-end gig. We're investing in Burlington for the long haul and want someone who sees this as the beginning of something.
