Couer dAlene Contract Photographer for Endurance Events

FinisherPix is a worldwide leader and provider of photography for endurance events such as triathlons, marathons, running races and obstacle course races. We leverage a global team of experienced, freelance sports photographers to provide photography coverage for our clients' events, and deliver high-quality digital images. We currently have a need for qualified photographers in the Coeur d'Alene area for the Ironman 70.3 Coeur d'Alene triathlon on June 21 with several other event opportunities throughout the year.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 1 year of endurance event photography experience (running, cycling, triathlon, and obstacle races) One professional or semi-professional camera body. A backup is highly beneficial. Focal lengths required are 70-200mm and 24-70mm. Strong working knowledge of photography and your camera bodies. Understand what impact shutter speed, aperture, ISO & exposure compensation have on images. Be able to read, comprehend, and follow our detailed, technical instructions and be able to click a link and follow your phone's GPS to specific photo locations. Be able to sit, stand, and move around for 5 or more hours. Prompt and responsible with a reliable car. Communicates vie text and email promptly and clearly. We pay a flat rate, typically between $125 and $500, dependent on the event, shooting hours, and experience of the photographer and may also compensate you for travel time & fuel, depending on how far you are from the venue. The upcoming Ironman 70.3 will pay an experienced photographer $300. If you're interested in joining our team, please apply AND provide a link to an online photography portfolio.
