Overview:
Audacy in Baltimore is currently looking to fill the position of part time (up to 25 hours/week) Board Operator.ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll Do:
This is a critical role in the on-air execution of the station. Board Operators may also be responsible for monitoring and log keeping for an additional radio station.- Run the control board
- Follow station format, arrange and play commercials and IDs according to program and commercial logs
- Follow all applicable laws and FCC regulations.
- Help administer contests, answer listener calls for live shows, operate satellite receivers, take transmitter meter readings, conduct EAS tests, etc.
Required and Preferred:
- 1+ years experience preferred
- Must be at least 21 years old to apply
- Adept at digital editing, board operating, recording, network and HTML/Digital web experience.
- Must be able to work varied shifts including weekends and evenings.
- A valid driver's license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant's own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required
