Qualifications:
  • Successful cheer coaching experience preferred
  • Knowledge and ability to teach cheer techniques and strategies
  • Must possess the ability to represent the Wayland Union District in a positive manner and implement MHSAA rules and policies of the Wayland Union Board of Education
  • Must posses knowledge of basic first aid
Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Support the coach in instructing athletes for competition, by teaching technique and promoting team building
  • Represent the Wayland Union District in a positive and professional manner when dealing with opponents, officials, players, parents and spectators
  • Work with Head Coach to schedule practices and events
  • Communicate effectively with parents, staff and students
Terms of Employment:
WUEA Schedule B position, seasonal position only. Stipend will be pro-rated for when the assistant coach actually starts. Will be employed through EduStaff unless current WUEA member Contingent upon passing post offer background checks. Apply Now
