Qualifications:
- Successful cheer coaching experience preferred
- Knowledge and ability to teach cheer techniques and strategies
- Must possess the ability to represent the Wayland Union District in a positive manner and implement MHSAA rules and policies of the Wayland Union Board of Education
- Must posses knowledge of basic first aid
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Support the coach in instructing athletes for competition, by teaching technique and promoting team building
- Represent the Wayland Union District in a positive and professional manner when dealing with opponents, officials, players, parents and spectators
- Work with Head Coach to schedule practices and events
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff and students
