Media Specialist

The Opportunity Kiln Media produces the cinematic visual identity behind Missoula's most respected realtors, builders, and brands. We're a premium media company built on craft, client relationships, and the belief that great content should move markets, not just fill feeds. We're hiring a Media Specialist to join the field team. Most of your work will be real estate, but the role spans builder projects, local business branding, and select commercial work across Western Montana. This is a hybrid creative role: photographer, videographer, drone operator, 3D scanner, and on-site client lead. You'll own the production of every shoot you're assigned from first handshake to final upload, capturing properties and brands with a level of polish that sets the market standard. What You'll Own Field production of photo, video, drone, 3D, and floorplan work for residential listings, builder projects, and select commercial clients Pre-shoot strategy calls that uncover what the client actually needs and position you as the expert in the room On-site creative direction, including coaching agents and business owners on camera with confidence and warmth In-field upsells and creative consultations that grow shoot value and client trust Same-day footage upload and project prep so the editing team is never waiting Equipment care, calendar accuracy, and clear field communication across the team Who Thrives Here You have two to three years of paid creative work behind you, with a portfolio that shows taste, not just output. You're fluent with a 3-axis gimbal and confident running a wide-lens camera in tight interior spaces. You're client-facing by nature . You read rooms, manage personalities, and leave every shoot with the client feeling like the most important part of the day. You work with intention . Detail-obsessed without being slow. Disciplined without being rigid. Open to feedback because you want to be better, not because you have to be. You operate well alone and on a team . Most days you'll run independent shoots. Requirements Two to three years of professional or independent creative experience Strong portfolio (website or accessible folder) Adobe Creative Suite (Lightroom, Premiere Pro) or DaVinci/Final Cut proficiency Comfortable with Google Workspace and disciplined file management Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle Live within 10 miles of Missoula Available Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm MST, with limited evening or Saturday flexibility Bonus Points FAA Part 107 Drone License Real estate media production experience (one year or more) Personal branding, studio lighting, flash, or portrait photography experience Real estate industry, sales, or operations exposure

What You Get Pay:

$18.49 to $19.54/hr post-training, plus monthly gas and mileage stipend

Full-time, Monday through Friday core hours, seasonal flexibility
