The Percussion Technician provides instruction for the marching percussion program, including the front ensemble and/or drum line during marching season, and assists with percussion ensembles and percussion instruction during concert season. Responsibilities include preparing students for performances, rehearsals, concerts, and contests while maintaining high musical and performance standards. The Percussion Technician is expected to attend rehearsals, marching contests, home football games at which the band performs, and concerts, while assisting with student supervision and contributing to the overall success of the band program.
