About Us:

We are a dedicated photography studio specializing in school portraits, capturing memorable and beautiful images of students of all ages. Our team is passionate about creating frame-worthy photos that families will cherish for years to come.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a creative and energetic School Photographer to join our team on a part-time, contract basis. If you have an artistic eye, enjoy working with children , and are eager to learn, we'd love to hear from you! Experience in photography is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Capture high-quality school portraits of students, ensuring they feel comfortable and confident during the session. Set up and operate photography equipment efficiently. Work with a variety of age groups, from preschool to middle school. Follow a structured shooting schedule while maintaining a creative and fun environment. Communicate professionally with school staff, students, and parents. Ensure all photos are appropriately organized and uploaded according to company standards.

Qualifications:

Photography Experience:

Some experience in photography is required, with an artistic eye for composition and detail. Great with

Must be FUN , patient, friendly, and able to create a positive experience for students during their photo sessions. Willingness to

Learn:

Open to training and learning new techniques to excel in school photography.

Background Check:

A background check is required due to working with children.

Reliable Transportation:

Ability to travel to various schools in the Portland area.

Flexible Schedule:

Availability to work during school hours on a part-time basis - usually early morning (usually 6:30 AM - Noon).

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rate based on experience. All photography equipment will be provided. This job is perfect for the photographer that is running their own business, but would like to add some work on in the fall or spring.
