From $17.00 per hour Job description: Seasonal Photographer Positions Available - Perfect for Stay-at-Home Parents and Grandparents, Freelance, and Hobby Photographers! Position :

Seasonal Photographers and Assistants Training :

Paid, no prior experience required, but some photography knowledge is helpful.

Schedule :

Usually meet at the lab by 6:30 AM, sometimes earlier depending on how far away the school is. Typically done by early afternoon for most jobs. Sports sessions are usually during practice time, from about 3-6. This is NOT a full time job for the most part. If you are a good fit, we can train you for working in the lab. This is a great opportunity for someone who does side work and can put in a good amount of time during the busy season(Back to School) here.

Photography:

Capture memorable images of Pre-K through 12th grade students. Quickly engaging the subject and getting that smile is key.

Customer Service Skills:

Interact with students, parents, and school staff professionally.

Flexibility:

Ability to work early mornings, extended days occasionally, and some Saturdays(rare). Photographers and assistants will have interchangeable duties depending on the day. I would like to keep everyone cross trained if possible.

Energy and Enthusiasm:

Bring a positive attitude to every photo session. Life is hard enough, I would prefer to always have work be smooth and relatively enjoyable.

Background Check:

Must be able to pass a background check. The main disqualifier is anything relating to children in a negative way. Why Join Us?

Calm under pressure : It can be stressful at times if the line gets backed up. It is vital to just keep working smoothly and getting great smiles. If stress shows, it shows in the kids faces.

Responsibilities :

• Capture high-quality photographs of students, staff, and sports
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and ensure their satisfaction
• Collaborate with team members to create a flawless Picture Day
• Keep the line running smoothly by preparing barcode cards to hand out to subjects as they arrive at the cameras.
• Go back and forth to the office with schedule, lists, and questions as necessary.

The office people are the heart of the school so customer service is vital in this aspect.

Qualifications :

• Strong Customer Service/people skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to demonstrate technical aptitude (ability to use a tablet/phone/camera).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Vehicle with trunk or rear seat capable of holding equipment is ideal.
• Able to communicate via email(ideally Gmail) for scheduling.
• Strong attention to details.
• Ability to work with children and remain calm during stressful times.
• Provide a SAFE, secure, and fun environment for children.
