Job description Lakeshore Photography is currently seeking seasonal photographers in the Northern Wisconsin region who are passionate about capturing smiles that last a lifetime! Get paid to travel and see new places while you work! Capturing school portraits is a fun and fast-paced position that is perfect for freelance photographers, photography hobbyists, or anyone eager to learn a new skillset. No Experience necessary, as we will train the right candidates that bring an organized, reliable, and energetic attitude! We offer competitive hourly pay (travel time included), paid training, and provide all the photo and studio equipment required.
Qualifications:
Live/home base in the Northern Wisconsin region Valid driver's license with reliable insured vehicle Willingness to travel 25-125 miles (up to approximately 2 hours one way) Tuesday-Thursday availability for early mornings into the afternoon (No nights or weekends!
Note:
An occasional overnight hotel stay (paid/reimbursed) may be required to accommodate an early A.M. start time) Experience with DSLR camera/lenses/lighting preferred but not required Experience and comfort working with children of varying ages Professional appearance and strong communication/customer service skills Ability to lift/carry, setup and operate professional photography equipment Ability to stand for several hours while photographing and manage a fast-paced timeline Excellent time management and the ability to work autonomously
Responsibilities:
Must be able to attend our in-house training in Marquette, MI (Mid-August) Efficiently self-manage your time/travel Arrive to photo locations reliably and on time (early mornings required) Communicate effectively with team members as well as school administration, staff, and students of varying ages Confidently provide verbal posing instruction, guidance, and general grooming assistance to portrait subjects Maintain a positive, professional, energetic attitude Photograph quality portraits of school students and staff using company provided equipment (Nikon)
Compensation:
$25.00-30.00 per hour (travel to/from assignment location is included in hourly compensation) determined based upon experience/qualifications.
Please Note:
This position is seasonal beginning mid-August and requires full/part-time availability through November. No weekends required. An occasional overnight stay may be requested based upon assignment location in which a daily stipend is provided.
