Job Description

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR
LICENSURE
1. High school diploma or equivalent. 2. Certified Optical Coherence Tomographers (OCT-C) Certification through the Ophthalmic Photographer's Society (OPS) Board of Certification within three years of hire. 3. Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
EXPERIENCE:
1. One (1) year of Retinal Angiography or Optical Coherence Tomography experience.
CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Fundus Photography 4. External/OculoPlastics Photography 5. Provide assistance in creation of educational posters, scientific posters/presentations, lectures, clinical trials reports and provision of imaging services as directed and necessary 6. ARVO support as directed 7. Quarterly/Annual Ophthalmic CME course presentations 8. Residents Day preparations 9. Layout and design of educational materials as directed 10. Assist in the education and training of students and other assigned personnel in clinical trial activities as required

SKILLS AND ABILITIES
1. Knowledge of basic medical terminology 2. Knowledge of ocular anatomy and physiology 3. Knowledge of standard photographic techniques, materials, processes and equipment 4. Knowledge of Ophthalmic photography and process. 5. Effective written and verbal communication skills. 6. Performs tasks in a tactful and professional manner. 7. Must participate in the necessary steps in becoming certified for research imaging.
Pay:
From $19.57 per hour
