ABOUT COASH COURT REPORTING & VIDEO CCRV
is a Phoenix-based court reporting and legal video firm serving attorneys and litigation teams across Arizona. We pair experienced court reporters with a dedicated production and administrative team to deliver accurate transcripts — on time, every time. We're a close-knit, fast-moving team that takes pride in doing things right and treating clients and colleagues like people, not case numbers.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Production Manager owns transcript production and cost estimating at CCRV — building accurate quotes for transcription and trial-related services, tracking every job against its deadline, and keeping clients and reporters aligned on delivery timelines. This role also directly manages a Production Assistant, and works closely with the scheduling team, video department, court reporters, and ownership to keep production running smoothly as the firm grows.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare accurate cost estimates for transcription services and related litigation support work for client-facing quotes Build trial cost estimations for multi-day or complex engagements, coordinating with reporters and vendors on scope and pricing Track transcript turnaround deadlines across all active jobs, flagging at-risk deliveries early and escalating as needed Directly supervise and manage a Production Assistant, delegating work and reviewing it for accuracy Overseeing operations/QA management with legal-transcription fluency Serve as the point of contact between court reporters, schedulers, and clients on delivery timelines and expedite requests Maintain production tracking logs for job status, page counts, and billing accuracy Tracks production metrics for analysis and department performance for leadership team Coordinate with the Video Manager on video-related delivery timelines when video services are part of a job Identify workflow bottlenecks and recommend process improvements Reconcile invoicing and billing against original estimates, and report discrepancies to the COO Track production metrics (turnaround time, job volume, on-time delivery rate) and report regularly to the COO Resolves client production issues and court reporter job issues Oversee large-volume transcript production, ensuring accurate assembly, binding, and formatting so finished transcripts are polished and court-ready Build and maintain organized production processes and procedures that keep high-volume document output consistent, accurate, and on schedule Ensure every transcript adheres to applicable court rules, certification requirements, and filing restrictions before delivery
QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of experience in court reporting, litigation support, or legal operations Experience building cost estimates or client quotes, ideally in a legal services environment Prior supervisory experience managing at least one direct report Strong attention to detail, especially with page-count and billing-based estimating Excellent organizational skills and a deadline-driven mindset; comfortable juggling many active jobs at once Clear, direct communicator who can give and receive feedback constructively Familiarity with court reporting or litigation support scheduling/production software a plus Experience with large-volume document production and binding in a fast-paced, deadline-driven office environment Proven ability to develop and enforce organized processes and procedures that scale as production volume grows Working knowledge of court formatting rules and filing requirements to ensure transcripts meet required standards High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certification or degree a plus
