Job Description

auto mätik is a Phoenix, AZ-based automotive training and events agency. Working with some of the most recognizable brands in the world, we design, develop, and deploy outside-the-box, fun, and engaging training programs, technologies, and events for both in-person and virtual audiences. Please see the automätik website at www.automatik.com. We're currently seeking a creative, conscientious, and efficient individual to join our team as a part-time Digital Asset Coordinator. This would be an exciting opportunity for a media or film student to learn hands-on digital editing!
Schedule:
Monday•Friday; Set schedule to be determined, but will be during the office hours of 8:30 am•5:30 pm.
Hours:
20 hours per week.
Pay:
$20•$22 per hour (depending on experience)
Location:
On-site at the Tempe, AZ office Job Summary In this position, you will be responsible for managing digital media assets, mainly in the form of video footage. This role will start on an hourly, part-time basis, with a possibility of becoming full-time based on company growth. This would be an ideal opportunity for a college student nearing graduation in media or film.
Role Responsibilities Digital Video Organization:
Sort video files received from clients and the Creative department as they relate to specific programs and clients. Back up footage to the local server. Open and render large video files, label and post for Creative department reference and usage callout. Manage digital assets within project folders on Frame i/o platform. Monitor and archive local NAS server, removing old files to anexternal hard drive for labeling and storage.
Project Support:
Work with the project team to call out and create "line edit" versions of footage that comes through our timelines, communicate the edit form, and relay to the content team. Support the Media Producer on simple video and/or audio edits as needed and by project.
Virtual Event Production Assistance:
Work with the Media Producer to research new and innovative ways to improve our company's virtual event procedures and protocols. Develop strategies for streamlining audio and visual assets into each of our projects. Research and procure the hardware necessary to implement digital storage needs.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required Education & Experience:
Active hands-on experience with Mac and PC. Adobe Premiere. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite•PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Outstanding organizational skills and high attention to detail. General working knowledge of virtual platforms that include Teams and Zoom. A service mentality, both with co-workers and clients. Envelope-pushing creativity (we rarely do the same thing twice). Propensity for problem-solving and critical thinking. The ability to rapidly assimilate new skills and software proficiency. Willingness to flex personally to meet sudden and/or tight client deadlines.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates and calculate figures such as proportions and percentages.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to remember previously learned material such as specifics, criteria, techniques, principles, and procedures.
Additional Requirement:
A valid Arizona driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
