ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Airs live and pre-recorded shows Completes traffic logs and fixes logging discrepancies Airs emergency alert system tests as indicated Engineers' remote broadcasts and follows station procedures. Regulates timing of programs, operates syndicated programming, and plays commercials and promotions as scheduled Off-air support of commercial production Monitors and updates weather, traffic, and news reports into automation equipment Monitors station contest Performs on-air announcements or shifts as assigned Assists with remote appearances

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

Excellent organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize and effectively manage time Self-starter, with the ability to take and follow direction Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with the station's clients and listeners Can work well independently and as an integral part of the team EDUCATION and/or
