Job Summary The Hive Theatre Company is seeking a highly organized and collaborative Production Manager to join the production team for our production of Spring Awakening The Musical. The Production Manager will coordinate all aspects of the theatrical production, serving as the primary point of communication between the artistic and technical teams. This role is essential to maintaining timelines and ensuring all production elements come together effectively. Key Responsibilities Create and manage the master production schedule Coordinate communication among the director, designers, technical director and stage manager Read through all Calderwood Pavilion materials, including contracts, spec sheets and handbook, and ensure that all requirements are fulfilled Facilitate production meetings and ensure the timely progress of all departments Create a detailed tech span of day schedule Supervise load-in, tech week, and strike Oversee and coordinate mic rental Troubleshoot problems as they arise to keep the production on track

Schedule Production Meetings:
Production meetings will be held throughout the winter and as needed during the rehearsal process
Rehearsals:
March 6th-April 9th Load-In / Hang & Focus /
Spacing Rehearsals:
April 5th-April 9th
Tech & Dress:
April 10th-April 14th
Performances:
April 15th-April 25th
Strike:
April 25th-April 26th Compensation 1099
Stipend:
negotiable based on experience
Qualifications:
Experience as a Production Manager, Stage Manager, or in a similar role in theater productions Excellent organizational and scheduling skills Strong leadership and interpersonal communication abilities Ability to handle multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment Familiarity with lighting, sound, set construction, and costume processes Proficiency with production software Excitement about being part of a brand-new theater company and contributing to its founding vision and culture
