Job Description

Monadnock Media, Inc., an Equal Opportunity Employer, is a nationally recognized multimedia design and production firm based in Hatfield, Massachusetts. We are looking for an Associate Producer who will manage the development of linear media experiences for museums and cultural institutions.
Responsibilities Include:
Oversee the development of linear components, operating as a bridge and guide between the production team, technical development team, and the client Design schedules to track progress, establishing milestones in light of the client's needs and company resources. Identifies and highlights potential roadblocks or resourcing issues and recommends solutions, involving other team members as needed Attend all project meetings related to developing linear components, asking clarifying questions, and taking notes to ensure the client's expectations are met. Presents concepts or project updates as needed. Publishes meeting notes, highlighting action items and next steps Use production and development schedules to ensure the tech team is on track in light of goals and deadlines. Assist Producers and the Creative Director in developing story structures, content outlines, and interpretive approaches Research online and library/archive-based media assets; acquire and manage media assets as needed
Best Candidates Will Have:
A Bachelor's degree in a related field 2-5 years of experience in media production, museum exhibit development, documentary production, or a related field Working knowledge of media production workflows, including pre-production, production, post-production, and installation processes Strong organizational and project management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including note-taking, documentation, presentation, and client communication Strong research skills, including experience locating, evaluating, organizing, and documenting archival, historical, or media assets Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate effectively between creative, technical, and client teams
