Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Aluminum Furnace Production Manager to lead our manufacturing operations focused on aluminum furnace production. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are consistently met. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimize production scheduling, and foster a culture of lean manufacturing and operational excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage a high-performance team within a fast-paced industrial environment, contributing to innovative manufacturing solutions and supply chain effectiveness. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate all aspects of aluminum furnace manufacturing operations, including process control, equipment maintenance, and safety compliance. Develop and execute production schedules utilizing ERP systems such as SAP and other manufacturing management tools to meet delivery deadlines while minimizing waste. Implement lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance process efficiency, reduce variability, and improve product quality. Monitor production data through Excel analysis and supply chain analytics to identify bottlenecks, forecast needs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Manage cross-functional communication with procurement, quality control, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless operations. Oversee plant management activities including resource planning, inventory control, and equipment upgrades to maximize productivity. Foster a safety-first environment by enforcing strict safety protocols and conducting regular training sessions for team members. Qualifications Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment, preferably with aluminum or metal processing industries. Strong knowledge of
SAP, MRP
(Material Requirements Planning), ERP systems, and production management systems. Demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing, process improvement (Six Sigma preferred), and supply chain management. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel data analysis for reporting and decision-making purposes. Mechanical knowledge related to furnace operation, assembly processes, and equipment maintenance is highly desirable. Excellent team leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster cross-functional collaboration.
