Position & Results Summary The Production Manager oversees the efficient and productive management of personnel, equipment, and materials to ensure the expected quality and successful completion of all residential and commercial irrigation projects, temporary water projects, and snow removal services. The Production Manager is the number one accountability partner for all site foreman and laborers, training and developing them to be efficient, knowledgeable, communicative, and safety-focused. The Production Manager ensures Installation teams adhere all Thirsty Turf Irrigation policies and procedures including, but not limited to, site operating and cleanup procedures, job documentation procedures (including in ServiceTitan), customer and team communication procedures, and safety policies both on site and while operating vehicles and machinery. The Production Manager role is estimated to be 60% field work and 40% office work, varying based on the season and scheduled projects. Responsibilities Forecasts departmental needs in order to determine staffing and equipment needs, sub-contractor needs, and material pricing and availability for Residential and Commercial Irrigation, Landscape Lighting, Temporary Water, and Trenching projects. Plans, executes, and reports on annual revenue goals and expense budgets for the Installation and Snow departments. Grows the Installation and Snow departments through collaborative, creative problem solving and planning, ongoing staff training and education, developing strong relationships with industry partners and vendors, participating in marketing and sales initiatives, staying up to date on techniques and technology, and contributing to team policies and procedures. Works with the Sales Team to schedule installations, coordinating personnel and equipment according to overall production goals, procurement schedules, weather, and personnel availability. Effectively utilizes our CRM program, Service Titan, for scheduling jobs and staff, documenting site details and customer communications, and reporting. Manages the progress and completion of multiple installation jobs each day. Runs machinery, drops materials, and makes site visits as needed. Performs quality assurance checks on installation and snow related jobs, ensuring TTI workmanship standards are met on every job. Effectively and professionally communicates with customers regarding job statuses and ensures customer satisfaction. Forecasts and plans for impending winter weather to ensure our team and subcontractors remain safe and timely, and our customers remain informed. Makes time sensitive decisions in order to keep teams productive when unexpected changes arise. Trains and develops installation foreman and laborers on all required hard skills and soft skills, in a way that fosters TTI's culture of growth and positivity. Acts as a TTI "Safety Ambassador", ensuring Installation and Snow staff's ongoing compliance with all company safety and environmental regulations and policies. Participates in recruiting all Installation and Snow related staff in cooperation with HR. Builds, delegates, and executes a winter project list in order to prepare for a smoother, more efficient and productive next season. Experience Hands-on experience with irrigation, lighting, temporary water, and trenching installation, repairs, and troubleshooting using a variety of methods and equipment. Experience managing snow removal services and schedules. Experience operating heavy machinery such as backhoes, trenchers, vibratory plows, loaders, and plows. Proven experience in effectively managing multiple projects simultaneously. Proven experience successfully leading, motivating, and developing teams. Proven experience improving production, efficiency, employee retention, and customer satisfaction. Knowledge of OSHA and other industry safety standards. Skills & Qualifications Google Suite/ Google Workspace Microsoft Office Suite Service Titan, or similar scheduling and dispatching CRM software experience Able to compile and interpret financial and other audit reports Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both orally and in writing Technologically savvy Able to read and understand blueprints Class
