Production Tech Manager

Position Overview The Production Tech Manager ensures that all worship and ministry environments at the Bath Campus operate reliably and with technical excellence. This role s highest priority is the development of systems, processes, and volunteer training that create consistent, repeatable workflows for ministries across the campus. Additional responsibilities include supporting weekend production and stewarding technical equipment in all worship spaces. Weekend hours are required. Essential Job Functions Systems, Process Develoment & Training Develop clear, scalable systems and SOPs for audio, video, lighting, streaming, stage setup, equipment use, and room readiness for auditoriums and large event spaces. Create volunteer-friendly processes that can be executed consistently by teams across ministries. Build and maintain training materials, documentation, and step-by-step guides in partnership with Audio and Visual Coordinators. Train volunteers and ministry teams on established processes, equipment use, and basic troubleshooting for auditoriums and large event spaces. Regularly evaluate and improve workflows to increase reliability, efficiency, and usability in all technical environments. Lead design and implementation of technical system improvements, ensuring all updates are documented and communicated. Weekend Production Support Serve as Production Manager and Quality Controller for weekend services at both Ghent and Montrose campuses. Ensure all worship spaces are ready and fully operational prior to services. Maintain technical excellence for livestream and in-room experiences. Support Audio and Visual Coordinators in ensuring system stability and consistency week-to-week. Provide real-time troubleshooting and technical support throughout weekend services. Equipment Maintenance & Technical Stewardship Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting for AVL and ministry equipment across all worship and ministry spaces. Keep up on technological developments and trends, suggesting upgrades when applicable. Manage equipment inventory, organization, tracking, and replacement lifecycle planning. Ensure auditoriums and large event spaces and equipment are properly maintained for all ministry functions, including events such as camps, funerals, and conferences. Work with vendors for repairs, service, upgrades, and installations. Oversee AVL-related portions of the Creative Arts budget and assist in forecasting technical needs.
