Job Description

Position Overview We will soon have a full-time opening at Zoellner Media Group's 102.3 KRMG Tulsa's News & Talk, to run our master control audio board for our award-winning radio station. We are looking for an individual that strives for flawless execution, excels in a highly paced team environment that has a proven track record of running a radio studio board (preferably in the News/Talk format). This position reports directly to the Director of Branding and Programming and closely partners with the news and programming teams to run master control (audio board) to also create, write, voice and produce content for the station. Exceptional communication, planning, technical and digital skills are a requirement. Execution of breaking news, severe weather events, and special on-air long-form coverage are a plus.

Key Responsibilities Preparing and executing live radio broadcasts Knowledge of and running an audio board Understanding of source and destination routing Knowledge of a radio talk clock Working with our radio automation system (WideOrbit) Working in conjunction with the station's Program Director with on-air breaks Digital production (Adobe Audition/Audacity) Producing news and talk content Writing news and talk scripts Screening and operating phone calls Setting up interviews Working in conjunction with station on-air talent and station on-air clients, remote location equipment. Experience covering major news stories and severe weather coverage Knowledge of FCC requirements with weekly/monthly EAS Tests Experience running a Delay Machine On-air with news, weather, and traffic breaks, including long-form and special programming duties Clearing commercial inventory Professional Experience/Qualifications/Skills Minimum of two years with proven successful radio station experience (N/T format preferred) Highly adaptable and professional Strong interpersonal skills to effectively build internal relationships Strong organizational, planning, problem solving and decision-making skills Able to multi-task in a high speed environment High work standards and degree of attention to detail High integrity and listener focused Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays throughout the year (under special circumstances) Strong computer, digital and social media expertise Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook and social media platforms Board Op-Producer Zoellner Media Group, LLC 2625 South Memorial Drive East, Tulsa, OK 74129 Full-time Full-time Position Overview We will soon have a full-time opening at Zoellner Media Group's 102.3 KRMG Tulsa's News & Talk, to run our master control audio board for our award-winning radio station.
