Job Description
Production Manager - Customer Experience Focused Roofs by Tip Top is a full-service residential and commercial roofing contractor based in Bucks County, PA. We're growing fast and need a customer-facing, Production Manager to own the entire lifecycle of every job, from the moment a contract is signed through final close-out. This is a hands-on operations role. You'll take the handoff from sales and drive each project to completion: scheduling, crew coordination, customer communication, quality oversight, and documentation. You are the person responsible for making sure jobs happen on time, on budget, and who creates a customer experience that leaves a lasting impression, where customers feel confident, cared for, and excited to recommend us to friends and family Your job lifecycle ownership: Contract Signed→Job Setup & Scheduling→Production & Oversight→Inspection & Punch-out→Close-out & Collection What you'll own Receive signed contracts from sales and immediately initiate job setup including permits, material orders, crew scheduling, and customer welcome communication Build and manage the production schedule across all active jobs, keeping timelines aggressive and on track Serve as the primary point of contact for customers from kickoff through completion Coordinate and direct field crews, subcontractors, and material deliveries day-to-day Conduct or oversee site visits to ensure quality standards and job progress Manage permitting and inspection scheduling with local jurisdictions Drive punch-list completion and final inspections without letting jobs stall at the finish line Execute job close-out: final documentation, customer sign-off, photos, and handoff for invoicing Maintain accurate, up-to-date job status in CRM at every stage Proactively flag and resolve issues including weather delays, material shortages, scope of work changes, crew conflicts etc. before they escalate. What we're looking for Roofing or construction production management experience is required. You must have hands-on familiarity with how construction jobs are scheduled and executed Proven ability to manage multiple active jobs simultaneously without dropping the ball Aggressive, ownership-minded approach to timelines. You push jobs forward, you don't wait for problems to surface Outstanding communication skills with customers, crews, vendors, and ownership Strong organizational and documentation habits ensuring every job stage is properly recorded Comfortable making real-time decisions in the field and escalating appropriately Proficiency with project management or CRM software (JobNimbus, Service Titan, Company Cam strong plus) Valid driver's license with ability to visit active job sites across eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Pay:
$70,000-$90,000 plus commission opportunitiesWork Location:
