We are seeking a hands-on Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations across a fast-paced, high-growth production environment. This role is responsible for driving workflow efficiency, production performance, quality, and team accountability while ensuring cases move seamlessly from intake through final delivery. The ideal candidate is a strong floor leader who thrives in a dynamic manufacturing setting, enjoys solving operational challenges in real time, and is passionate about building high-performing teams. Working cross-functionally with Design, Quality, Customer Service, and Supply Chain, the Production Manager will play a critical role in improving throughput, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and helping scale operations as Spectrum Killian continues to grow.What You'll Be Responsible For:
Production Operations & Execution Oversee daily production operations to ensure cases move efficiently through intake, design, manufacturing, and final delivery Drive performance across safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals Monitor workflow, staffing, and production schedules to maintain consistent turnaround times and customer service levels Identify production bottlenecks, workflow disruptions, and resource constraints, taking quick action to resolve issues Lead daily production meetings and floor communication to ensure alignment, accountability, and visibility across teams Support labor planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to maximize throughput and operational efficiency Partner with cross-functional teams to improve handoffs, reduce delays, and maintain smooth case flow throughout production Track and report on production metrics including turnaround time, productivity, quality, and on-time delivery Continuous Improvement & Operational Support Support Lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement activities across the production floor Help implement and sustain standard work, 5S practices, visual management, and workflow improvements Participate in problem-solving efforts to reduce defects, remakes, delays, and operational inefficiencies Use production data and KPIs to identify trends and drive process improvements Assist with process optimization, equipment utilization, and workflow balancing to improve efficiency and scalability Reinforce operational discipline and consistency through hands-on floor leadership and coaching Team Leadership & Development Lead, coach, and support production supervisors and frontline employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Build a positive, accountable, and team-oriented culture focused on quality and continuous improvement Provide hands-on support on the production floor to remove barriers, reinforce expectations, and maintain workflow stability Support employee development through training, cross-training, and performance coaching Conduct performance conversations and provide regular feedback to team members Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company policies and EHS standards Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with Design (CAD/CAM), Quality, Customer Service, and Supply Chain teams to ensure efficient production flow Help resolve production issues, case escalations, and quality concerns in a timely manner Collaborate with leadership to support operational priorities, staffing needs, and growth initiatives Support implementation of new technologies, workflow improvements, and process changes within the department Quality & Compliance Ensure adherence to internal quality standards, documented procedures, and production requirements Support root cause investigations and corrective actions related to remakes, defects, or customer concerns Reinforce quality at every stage of production through process consistency and attention to detail Maintain accurate documentation and support compliance with applicable manufacturing and quality standards Monitor quality trends and work with teams to improve overall product consistency and customer satisfactionWho We're Looking For:
3+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or production leadership roles Experience leading teams in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a hands-on leadership style Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing production demands Familiarity with production metrics, workflow management, and operational reporting Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Experience with Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices preferred Dental laboratory, medical device, or regulated manufacturing experience preferred Familiarity with CAD/CAM or digital manufacturing workflows is a plus Bachelor's degree in Operations, Manufacturing, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience) Why SKDLA?Inclusive Environment:
