Video Production Manager The Woodlands, TX 77380 Full-time Full-time Bring your leadership, creative direction, and production expertise to a team passionateabout sharing the Gospel through high-quality, meaningful content. The Woodlands Methodist Church (TWMC) is seeking a Video Production Manager to lead the Video Team. This role oversees video and photography production from concept to delivery, ensuring alignment with TWMC's mission, brand, and communication strategy. The Video Production Manager leads creative execution, manages team workflow, and ensures consistent, high-quality content across platforms and ministries.
ROLE PURPOSE
This role exists to: Lead the execution of video and photography content aligned with content strategy Ensure strong storytelling, visual consistency, and production quality Manage team workflow, priorities, and project delivery Develop team members and strengthen overall production capabilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Creative Leadership & Content Oversight Develop and execute content aligned with the Content and Marketing Director's strategy Translate ministry goals into clear creative briefs and production direction Establish and maintain visual storytelling and brand standards Guide storytelling approach, pacing, and visual style across all content Review and approve day-to-day deliverables for distribution readiness Ensure final content aligns with messaging, platform, and ministry goals Production & Project Management Oversee video and photography production from planning through delivery Serve as a hands-on contributor by capturing video/photo content and editing projects as needed, especially for high-priority or time-sensitive deliverables Manage project timelines and production schedules Coordinate shoot planning, staffing, equipment, and execution readiness Lead efficient execution across services, events, campaigns, and ministry needs Maintain organized asset management and archival systems Identify workflow challenges and implement process improvements Team Leadership & Development Lead and oversee the Video Team, including: • Videographers / Photographers Assign projects and manage workload across the team Provide coaching, feedback, and professional development Conduct performance evaluations and support growth plans Foster a collaborative, healthy, and high-performing team culture • Cross-Team Collaboration Partner closely with the Content and Marketing Director, Social Media Team, and ministry leaders Align video content with broader communication and storytelling strategy Ensure deliverables are optimized for platform distribution (social, web, in-service) Communicate priorities, timelines, and production needs clearly across teamsROLE OWNERSHIP

5+ years of professional video production experience 2+ years of leadership or team management experience preferred Strong portfolio demonstrating high-level storytelling and production work Advanced proficiency in video production and editing tools (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve) Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom) Experience managing multiple creative projects and teams Strong understanding of live-event, studio, and storytelling production Excellent organizational and leadership skills Church or nonprofit experience is a plus Bachelor's degree in a related field preferredSUCCESS IN THIS ROLE LOOKS LIKE

Content and Marketing Director sets overall content strategy, messaging, and priorities The Video Production Manager leads execution and production decisions The Video Production Manager provides recommendations on storytelling and visual execution Final approval on major initiatives and campaigns rests with the Content and Marketing Director Day-to-day execution and production approvals are owned by the Video Production ManagerPHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to lift and operate production equipment (~50 lbs) Ability to stand, move, and assist in production setupsOTHER SPECIFICATIONS

Standard work schedule is 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Sunday through Thursday. Some weekends, evenings, and extended hours required during Christmas, Easter, and special events. Occasional travel between campuses and off-site events may be requiredBenefits:
