This role is crucial in ensuring accurate and timely processing of garnishments, which helps maintain compliance with legal requirements and supports our employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Garnishment Processing:
Review and process various types of garnishments.
Compliance and Legal Requirements:
Ensure all garnishments are processed in compliance with legal guidelines. Respond to inquiries from employees and external agencies regarding garnishment-related matters.
Recordkeeping and Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all garnishment orders and related communications. Prepare and submit required reports and documentation to appropriate agencies.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in collections or garnishment processing.
Skills:
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$12.00 - $20.00 per hour DOE (bonus pay is a portion)
