Proofreader

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Proofreader to join our art team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing a variety of orders for accuracy, clarity, and consistency. This role is essential in maintaining the high quality standards of our apparel business. The Proofreader will work closely with other proofreaders and department supervisors. Process error-free files and worksheets to our factory floor. Training will be required to become familiar with Adobe Illustrator and our company database. The Adobe software will be used mostly to check artwork, colors, sizing etc. Duties Carefully review and proofread a wide variety of embellishments. Ensure artwork matches all order and worksheet notes. Verify the accuracy of names and dates. Proof for grammar, punctuation and spelling. Collaborate with artists and supervisors to correct errors found. Work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring high-quality output. Qualifications Proven experience in proofreading or editing roles across various formats would be preferred. Strong command of English language. Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide constructive feedback. Exceptional eye for detail and accuracy. Familiarity with fact-checking techniques. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

Pay:

$21.00 - $22.00 per hour
