This role involves supporting the entire podcast production process, from conceptualization, booking guests, interviewing, recording, and publication.

Responsibilities Support and Produce Podcast Episodes:

Collaborate with the editorial team to plan and develop podcast episodes that align with the papers content strategy. Record, edit, and produce 1 podcast episode per week. Manage the scheduling and logistics of podcast recording sessions. Write scripts and prepare interview questions for interview. Develop a weekly Chapman-centric podcast in partnership with Chapman Radio.

Ensure High-Quality Audio Production:

Edit and mix audio recordings, ensuring clear sound quality and seamless transitions.

Publish and Promote Podcast Episodes:

Manage the distribution of podcast episodes on various platforms (e.g., Apple Podcasts, Spotify, SoundCloud). Work with the Digital Marketing team to create promotional materials, including episode descriptions, social media posts, and graphics. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies for increasing podcast visibility and audience engagement. Attend weekly staff meetings throughout each semester. Required Qualifications ground in podcast production. Desired Qualifications Prior experience with The Panther or a comparable publication. Proficiency in audio editing software.
