DESCRIPTION

Football Startup League is an innovative 7-on-7 football league built for the social-first era — faster pace, more explosive plays, and a fan experience closer to a UFC event than a traditional football game. We are producing a proof of concept shoot so looking to capture game play traditionally and cinematically with two units. This is an ENG/doc-style production. Audio is a key storytelling element — we need clean field audio, mic'd up players and coaches capturing raw in-game moments, and ref audio for rules and pace clarity. Responsibilities Manage and deploy wireless mic packages for select players, coaches, and on-field officials throughout the shoot day Capture clean field atmosphere and game audio Monitor and adjust levels in real time during live action and interview setups Coordinate with Director/Producer on mic priorities and rotation as needed Handle mic placement, maintenance, and retrieval across a fast-moving shoot environment Requirements Experience with wireless lavalier systems in live sports or event production environments Comfortable working on an active field during live play Able to manage multiple wireless channels simultaneously Strong troubleshooting skills — this is a one-day shoot with no room for downtime Own kit strongly preferred — please list your wireless and recording gear in your application A Plus Football, combat sports, or live sports event audio experience Experience mic'ing athletes in motion during live competition Familiarity with Sound Devices, Lectrosonics, Sennheiser, or Deity wireless systems
