About the Role Community Broadcasters, LLC Radio Group is looking for a versatile, motivated Programming Assistant to support daily operations across multiple local radio brands. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced broadcast environment, enjoys creative production, and has strong technical instincts. You'll work directly with our programming and on-air teams to keep our stations sounding sharp, local, and connected to the community. Key Responsibilities Morning Show & Daily Content Produce a daily local sport radio morning show , including audio prep, editing, and segment assembly Complete early-morning show preparation for Weather, News, and Sports elements Assist with topical content gathering, scheduling, and formatting Production & Imaging Handle commercial production , including weekly barter spots Edit, mix, and deliver high-quality audio for promos, sponsorships, and special features Process and organize weekly syndication files for multiple formats On-Air & Voice Work Voice track for multiple stations and formats as assigned Maintain consistent station sound and brand alignment across all recorded content Co-host a weekend sports radio show , contributing analysis, conversation, and local insight Sports Broadcasting Produce high school football broadcasts , including pregame setup, live support, and postgame wrap Coordinate with talent, engineering, and sponsors to ensure smooth execution Required Skills & Experience Strong audio editing skills (Adobe Audition, Audacity, or similar) Solid understanding of radio operations, clocks, and formatting Ability to manage deadlines in a live broadcast environment Clear, professional on-air voice and delivery Technical aptitude for file management, automation systems, and troubleshooting Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with early morning hours and weekends Preferred Qualifications Experience with Scott Studios, WideOrbit, Zetta, NexGen, or similar automation systems Prior work in local radio, sports broadcasting, or commercial production Knowledge of local sports and community events in the Florence/PD region What We Offer Opportunity to work across multiple formats and brands Hands-on experience in live radio, sports, and production A collaborative team that values creativity, localism, and strong work ethic Growth potential within programming, production, or on-air roles How to Apply Send your résumé, aircheck, and production samples to dave_baker@commbroadcasters.com Applications will be reviewed as received.
