• Your New Role
• This internship will be located in the Atlanta area. The selected intern will be expected to join us in the office on a regular cadence based on the intern manager's in office schedule. Interns with CNN Health are not here to observe. Our interns get a front row seat to everything we do and are here to contribute.
• Your Role Accountabilities
• + Learn how TV and text stories are crafted + Learn how we vet stories and research + Learn how a story goes from an idea to a script, through edit and onto TV or our website + Develop and strengthen research and interview skills + Contribute to and write stories for CNN TV and CNN.com
• Qualifications & Experience
• + •Writing experience with work samples, including published bylines, is required.

• + Passionate about news, self-motivated and able to multitask + Experience in news writing is a must, and experience in medical news or the field of health and science is ideal + Positive attitude and ability to function well in a fast-paced, high-volume environment + A keen understanding of how to spot and tell a great news story + Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required) + Must be a rising Junior or Senior (18 years or older) + Must be in academic good standing (3.

0 or above cumulative GPA). A transcript will be required to verify your GPA if an offer is extended. + Warner Bros.
