- Faribault OR Owatonna Job description: Faribault Daily News OR Owatonna People's Press Reporter The Faribault Daily News and Owatonna People's Press are seeking a reporter to write news stories for the daily print edition and online website. The reporter should be comfortable covering all types of news, including local government, events, features, hard news, breaking news and more. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and a strong communicator, who is willing and able to get out in the community and make their presence felt. An ability to write well, follow direction and get out and about to report are all required.An associate's or bachelor's degree in a journalism related field and/or professional working experience is a plus.
