Job Description

The Neosho Daily News is looking for a staff writer/reporter to cover local news, including school districts as well as city/county governments and business feature stories. About 20 hours per week to start, could grow to full-time. Must be able to spell correctly, comprehend sentence structure and grammar, and must be able to type using the "home row" method. Must live in Neosho or at least within Newton County. Knowledge of Apple computers and WordPress software is helpful. No experience necessary, but must enjoy talking to people and learning new things. Will train the right person.
