Full-Time About the Position We're looking for a passionate, energetic individual who loves current events and being at the center of what's happening in the community. This is more than a newsroom job—it's an opportunity to become a trusted local voice and familiar face throughout Bartlesville and surrounding area. As the on-air representative for KWON 1400/93.3/95.1, you'll cover the stories that matter , interview community leaders , report from major events , and connect listeners with the people and issues shaping their hometown. If you enjoy meeting people, telling compelling stories, building relationships, and making an impact in your community, this could be the perfect opportunity to launch or grow your career in local media. Key Responsibilities News Reporter and Producer Produce a local morning show on an award-winning station Report from local meetings, events, and press conferences . Write and deliver news updates , and interviews for on-air and digital platforms. Help manage and produce video broadcasts for the morning show and sports events. Qualifications- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience or enthusiasm for current news and sports events .
- Computer literate and comfortable with audio, digital, and mobile media technologies.
- Willing to learn and manage video production and editing technologies.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
