Job Description

Job Summary:
Sports Information Student workers assist with game day operations, live broadcasts, statistics, writing, photography, social media, and other media-related responsibilities while helping showcase Aggie Athletics. This position provides valuable real-world experience for students interested in sports communications, broadcasting, marketing, journalism, and athletic administration.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Producing live game broadcasts, including camera operation, graphics, and play-by-play support Inputting and calling live statistics Public address announcing Play-by-play announcing and color commentary for livestreams on MACTV and DVUSN (please contact us directly if you are interested in becoming a play-by-play announcer) Conduct interviews with coaches and athletes Playing in-venue music during games Capturing live-action photography and producing photo galleries Writing game previews, recaps, and other website content Assisting with social media content creation Updating historical records and athletics record books Designing creative materials using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro) Completing at least one office hour per week Other duties as assigned
Education Employment Eligibility:
Currently enrolled Delaware Valley University student Must be authorized to work in the United States and provide required documentation to verify identity and employment eligibility
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Strong interest in sports (no prior playing experience required) Creativity, reliability, and professionalism Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions :
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Occasionally lifting 25 lbs or less Frequently lifting 25 lbs or more Typically standing or walking Climbing bleachers Outdoor exposure to weather Exposure to moving machinery High noise environment May have an alternative work schedule
