General Reporter - The Lancaster NewsThe Lancaster News, Lancaster, SC, an award-winning community newspaper is seeking a motivated General Reporter to join our newsroom. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about local storytelling and committed to keeping the community informed.

Responsibilities include:

Covering local government, schools, business and community eventsWriting clear, accurate and engaging news stories on deadlineConducting interviews and developing sources and relationshipsAttending evening meetings and occasional weekend assignmentsTaking photographsContributing story ideas that reflect community interests
Qualifications:
Strong writing and editing skillsAbility to manage multiple assignments and deadlinesValid Driver's License and reliable transportation
