SUMMARY SHOULD HAVE PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE IN CHURCH MEDIA

The Media Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Production, Media, and Broadcast ministries at Breath of Life Worship Church. This position helps cultivate an atmosphere of worship marked by excellence and professionalism. The role requires strong communication skills and a solid working knowledge of audio, video, lighting, and live‑production administration. Success in this position depends on careful planning, ongoing improvement, and the ability to anticipate needs before they arise. The Media Coordinator should consistently operate with a proactive mindset, identifying challenges early and helping elevate the quality of all production environments.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and support the continued growth of Breath of Life Worship Church through livestream, broadcast, and digital media initiatives. Direct the research, development, and creation of media content, presentations, and visual materials for church services and online platforms. Offer creative input to help engage in‑person attendees and online viewers. Ensure all technical elements for services are prepared, tested, and functioning correctly. Oversee the safe and effective use of audio, video, and lighting systems across all church locations. Maintain clean, organized, and safe production areas, including stages, booths, and workspaces. Participate in staff meetings, and other required gatherings.

QUALIFICATIONS SHOULD HAVE PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE IN CHURCH MEDIA

High school diploma or GED. Minimum of two years of hands‑on experience in church media, or a comparable blend of education and experience. Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and structure a developing media ministry. Strong organizational and time‑management abilities. Proficiency with audiovisual equipment, computers, and presentation software. Capable of working independently, locating resources, and making sound decisions. Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to train and guide volunteer teams. Works well collaboratively within a team environment. Eagerness to learn new technologies and expand technical skills. Availability for flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Professional, positive, and uplifting attitude.
