A Set or Exhibit Designer designs display booths or exhibits for museums, galleries or trade shows. Develops drawings and plans to accommodate the specific space, lighting and temperature requirements of materials to be exhibited; builds or supervises building of exhibits. Designs stage sets and scenery for performances, primarily for live theater performances, or sets for filmed performances or for events such as press conferences. Works with directors and producers to plan props and materials needed for a show.

Job Description
Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain technical support on equipment associated with all live entertainment events and productions.
- Maintain show quality standards as set by production staff.
- Perform all assignments and responsibilities as outlined for all scenic and prop elements within all live entertainment events and productions.
- Provide basic troubleshooting and maintenance for scenic elements, props, and scenic painting.
- Be involved in the rehearsal and operation of your respective events and productions under the direction of the Production Staff.
- Navigate in, on, or around scenic elements associated with specific venues and events in potentially dark and restrictive spaces.
- Required to climb ladders and work at heights in excess of 35 feet and lift more than 50 pounds.
- Maintain clean and safe atmosphere in all areas of a specific venue. This may include, but not limited to sweeping, mopping, cleaning up trash, cleaning restrooms, and cleaning the storage/shop area.
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment in a safe manner and utilize all appropriate Personal Protection Equipment.
- Adhere to and enforce all park policies and procedures as outlined in the Seasonal Handbook and the Department Standard Operating Procedure Manual.
- Wear and maintain park issued uniform. Team Member is required to provide black steel-toed shoes.
- Immediately report any unsafe acts to the unit Stage Manager.
- Train new personnel as needed.
Qualifications Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum Age:
18- Shifts are dependent on Events and Production needs
- Basic technical theatrical skills required for all positions. Expert skills required for some positions.
- Prior background in scenic carpentry, painting and prop artistry preferred
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for the length of shift
- Must be able to work with ladders, scaffolding or lifts
- Must be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Must be professional, self-motivated, the ability to multi-task and have an enthusiastic attitude
- Must have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with others
