Seasonal Art Administration Intern (Paid) Fall 2026
Description:
The Cambridge Art Association (CAA) is seeking an Art Administration Intern to assist with daily administrative duties for the Fall of 2026. This is a paid, in-person, internship position ($15/hour). Internships at the CAA are hands-on and immersive. The Intern will work with the Associate Director to facilitate CAA's overall gallery operations. The intern's responsibilities, under the direction of the Associate Director, will include, but are not limited to: Graphic design Social media management Exhibition management Various artist coordination tasks Database Entry Marketing Research Editing 5-10 hours per week, Tuesday-Friday, with a minimum 12-weekmitment.
Qualifications:
Applicants must be interested in pursuing a career in the arts sector, or be enrolled in a Graduate/Undergraduate Degree Program in the Greater Boston Area, preferably in a visual arts or arts administration. Applicants must be 18-years or older. Interest in visual arts and working with visual artists is required. Proficiency in Google Drive, Microsoft Suite, and social media platforms preferred, but not required Our ideal candidate will possess: A genuine interest in a small, non-profit artsanization A positive, enthusiastic attitude Focused attention to detail Excellentputer skills Willingness to learn and assume a wide array of responsibilities Strong interpersonal skills
