Job Title:
VDC/BIM Specialist Job Description We are seeking a skilled VDC/BIM Specialist to develop and manage 3D/4D BIM models, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project goals. This role involves coordinating with design, engineering, and construction teams, performing clash detection, generating construction visualizations, and maintaining model integrity throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities Develop and manage 3D/4D BIM models using Revit, Navisworks, and other VDC tools. Coordinate with design, engineering, and construction teams to ensure model accuracy and alignment with project goals. Perform clash detection and lead resolution meetings with stakeholders. Generate construction visualizations and simulations to support planning and sequencing. Maintain model integrity and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Support field teams with model-based workflows and digital coordination. Essential Skills 3-5 years of experience in VDC/BIM roles within the AEC industry. Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other modeling tools. Strong understanding of construction processes and sequencing. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with Healthcare or Commercial projects is a strong plus. Experience leading coordination meetings with large groups of people, including designers, trade partners/sub-contractors, and construction management teams. Attention to detail with a sense of urgency and the ability to read and understand construction schedules and contract documents. Familiarity with Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud). Work Environment The candidate can be based in Raleigh, NC, Nashville, or Dallas. The role involves collaboration with various teams and stakeholders, utilizing advanced digital tools and technologies to enhance project delivery. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $52.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
