DOE Shift :
Full time. Possibility of overtime. Mon-Fri, but may include occasional Saturday or evening shifts.

Responsibilities :
Utilize fabrication and shop skills while building our exhibits. Follow all safety protocols and standards. Participate in regular training and on-the-job skill development. Be involved in exhibit development and projects. Thoughtfully promote a love of inquiry and discovery by creating safe, inclusive, and fun opportunities for transformative experiences through high quality, intentional craftsmanship and intelligent, human centered, universal design. Collaborate with other departments. Exemplify Thanksgiving Point's Mission, Values and Policies. Other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor.
Requirements :
Know, understand, and have experience with best practices in exhibit fabrication, shop machines and equipment, materials, engineering, and safety protocols. Knowledge of how to use power tools such as table and band saws, sanders and routers. Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills. Willing to learn, respectful, welcoming, reliable, flexible and collaborative. Follow all safety protocols. Pass a background check. Be at least 21 years old.
