If you can hold down a session, we want to talk to you. We're an independent studio in the heart of Hollywood working primarily in Hip-Hop, Reggaeton, Melodic Rap, and R&B. We're also partnered with EngineEars, once you're onboarded, we'll set you up with your own profile on the platform. This runs like an on-call gig. Work comes in as clients book sessions, so hours will vary week to week, and whoever's ready and available gets the session. Positions We're Filling Assistant Engineer For engineers who know their way around a session but are still building a client base and reputation. Solid grasp of signal flow, mic placement, and session setup Can run a session solo with occasional oversight Actively building your own mixing/recording chops Some paid or unpaid session experience preferred Intern For engineers just starting out who want real studio hours and mentorship. Basic Pro Tools or Logic knowledge Reliable, on time, coachable No paid experience required College credit What We Offer Real client sessions from day one (at the appropriate level) Room to grow into higher-paying session work as you level up Flexible scheduling, this is a great fit if you're building your own engineering career on the side Book our studio at a discount for your own sessions Basic Requirements 18+ and able to work in Hollywood, CA in person Reliable transportation to the studio Available for on-call scheduling, including evenings/weekends/holidays Strong communication, you'll be responding to booking requests quickly Preferred Applicants May Have Prior studio or home-studio session experience Familiarity with Hip-Hop, Reggaeton, Melodic Rap, or R&B workflows An existing EngineEars profile or client base of your own A demo reel or portfolio ready to send Please provide cover letter and resume.
