Emmy award-winning production company seeks location sound mixer to work on a feature-length documentary on regenerative agriculture, with locations in Dawson, MN and Pierre, SD. We'll be spending several days in 2-3 nearby rural locations, getting to know our characters, their settings and shooting as many elements as we can. Setup for sound would be mostly for verité (lavs + boom), outside b-roll when weather permits, interior scenes in homes and places farmers like to go. This is mostly single-camera, but a second camera may be deployed for some scenes and require wireless timecode sync.

Our current dates are 10/4 to 10/12, which would include 3 days of travel and 6 days of shooting. There will likely be early calls and 12-hr days. Transportation will either be provided or we'll ask you to self-drive and reimburse afterwards at current IRS mileage rate.
