  • $350 a day 2 hours ago Qualifications Audio Engineering Communication skills Full Job Description personalLiquid Church is a multisite church looking for an experienced audio engineer to run Live Sound for our weekend services.
We currently have 7 campuses in total with full contemporary worship teams, Live speaking, and video elements throughout a 70-minute service experience. Our worship team usually consists of a full drum kit, electric and acoustic guitars, a keyboard, bass, backing tracks, and multiple vocalists.
Big Win:
A contract employee who ensures Liquid's front-of-house live sound experience is executed with consistency and quality every Sunday. We are also looking for an engineer who specifically has a sensitivity to houses of worship and can bring their own personally relationship with Jesus into our team. The Audio Engineer serves under the Campus Worship Leader and collaborates closely with Worship Expereince Pastor and the AVL Technician. In a contracted position, the schedule generally includes Sunday support with additional hourly opportunities based on needs at Liquid Church.   • Operate the audio system for Sunday services, including live worship, speakers, and video elements. Thursday Rehearsal FOH Mixing
  • Operate the audio system for midweek evening Worship Rehearsal. Audio Systems Setup
  • Responsible for microphone placement on drums and amps, assisting with patching/cabling, and troubleshooting issues like signal flow and in-ear mixes. Weekend Availability
  • This role requires availability for the majority of Sundays throughout the year, with a particular focus on key weekends such as Easter, Christmas Eve, Mother's Day, and Father's Day. Additional Events
  • This position is also our 'preferred first' call for events such as Worship Nights, Volunteer events, and live music venue rentals in our Broadcast Campus.
Preferred Audio Experience & Knowledge Previous Front of House (FOH) experience in a church setting. General knowledge of contemporary worship mixing techniques and equipment, including plugins, microphones, EQ presets, etc.
Experience or familiarity with:
Dante Network, Yamaha CL5 Audio Console & Waves Sound Grid Basic experience with audio post-production elements, such as mastering stereo files. Familiarity with contemporary worship artists like Elevation Worship, Belonging Co., and Bethel Music. Experience working with omnidirectional headset microphones for communicators.
General Qualifications Faith:
Seeking a candidate with a vibrant faith who understands how to shape a worship experience in a contemporary church setting.
Knowledge:
Strong understanding of live sound consoles, signal flow, and live mixing techniques.
Abilities:
Able to thrive in a collaborative environment and consistently create excellence, even when facing challenges.
Schedule:
Availability on Sundays from setup to teardown, with minimal weekend call-outs or cancellations.
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Relational Ability:
A "people person" who can work effectively with staff and volunteers of diverse personality types.
Leadership:
Capable of working under pressure with a positive and optimistic attitude.

00 per day Application Question(s): Are you able to be present from roughly 6am to 1pm for audio support and set up? Are you willing to train and work with volunteer teams and other staff to ensure setup, teardown, and the service experience run as smoothly as possible? For this role, previous audio experience in a church setting is preferred. If applicable, please briefly describe any previous experience mixing "Front of House" or "Broadcast Audio" in church or ministry environments. (Lack of previous audio experience in a "house of worship" may affect your qualification.)
