Job Description

Looking for a Sound Mixer for a 2-day shoot in downtown Philadelphia. Day 1 will be a shorter, more controlled panel shoot, while Day 2 will be a longer, more active outdoor day. Different audio needs each day but tentacle sync for both:
  • Friday, April 10: Moderated panel (hotel ballroom). House audio will be provided
  • we will need to capture a clean feed from the board, with backup coverage for cameras and pull-aside interviews (shotgun + handheld mic + 1 lav as backup).
  • Sunday, April 12: Handheld, doc-style outdoor shoot following a group of participants visiting a local landmark
  • coverage of the outing, pull-aside interviews, and organic interactions.
This will require a lightweight, mobile setup (2 lavs + shotgun for each cam + boom). We are looking for someone adaptable & experienced working quickly with a lean crew in a verité environment. Local hire only; no hotel. Mileage reimbursed. Crew consists of DP, b-cam operator, sound mixer, and field producer. (PA support Sunday only)
  • Basic Spanish proficiency a big plus but not required!
