Rate:
$600/12 +$350
Kit Rental Project Description:
We are seeking an experienced Sound Mixer for an upcoming unscripted television production. This is a fast-paced shoot with a small crew, so we're looking for someone who is technically strong, adaptable, and comfortable working in a run-and-gun environment.
Responsibilities Include:
Recording high-quality audio for verité-style and OTF shoots Managing wireless lavaliers, boom operation, and multi-channel audio recording Monitoring audio levels and ensuring clean, usable sound at all times Troubleshooting audio issues quickly in dynamic environments Coordinating with producers and camera team to capture key moments clearly Managing audio gear, batteries, and media throughout the shoot Delivering organized audio files for post-production
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Sound Mixer on reality/unscripted productions Must be local withink 60 miles to Knoxville, TN area Strong knowledge of field audio equipment (e.g., mixers, recorders, wireless systems) Experience working in fast-moving, unpredictable environments Ability to wire talent quickly and discreetly Reliable, professional, and able to take direction well Ability to work long hours in a fast-paced environment
Additional Notes:
Must have own gear (please include gear list when applying) Experience working with small crews is a plus Must be a team player with a positive attitude
